Welcome to the official site of the Leicestershire & Rutland County, Royal British Legion Pipe Band (LRC RBL Pipe Band).

The band uniform consists of black jackets and kilts of the
Ancient Hunting MacRae Tartan, topped off with the blue and gold hackle, colours of The Royal British Legion.

Based in Leicestershire, the band was formed in 2002 and is running stronger than ever with over 20 members, and a strong learner section. Our members come from all over the Midlands.

The full band practice is on a Monday evening from 7.30-10 pm, at
Shepshed Baptist Church. We are always interested to hear from any new players, whether you are an experienced player or just a beginner.

The band is managed by Chairman Peter Towers, assisted by
Phil Duthie, Bill Pepper and Rod Masters, with our  secretary Anders Hobson.

Feel free to get in contact with the band, all comments and queries are welcome. We can provide a range of services from a single piper, mini band or full marching pipe band.

To learn more about the band, follow the links at the side of the page, or contact our band secretary.
